MusicStation was proud to have been one of the sponsors for this year’s Local & Live Festival held in Tunbridge Wells. We set up a stall in Calverley Park opposite the stage and had a great view for two days.
We had a steady stream of people interested in lessons and we met many of our old students, some dating back to 1999! It was really enjoyable seeing so many of them playing at the festival (all that practice does pay off!)
We must congratulate Paul Dunton and his team for producing such an amazing event that had consistent quality and ran on time!
There is an enormous amount of talent in this area and events like this showcase existing artists playing original music and encourage many new ones to start. We hope to continue to train new musicians for many festivals to come.
Here are a few artists we particularly enjoyed:
Goldie Reed (with David Migden)
The Good Ship Band (featuring Sam Woods and Jez Harley)
Arcelia (featuring the amazing Simon Foster)
Mark Morriss (The Bluetones)
David Migden & the Twisted Roots (featuring James Sedge and Phil Scragg)
